Annual Shoot at the Chelmsford (1944) Rifle Club

www.chelmsford1944rifleclub.org.uk

Once again the annual shoot was upon us. The social evening arranged by Phil and Sue Cox which involves an event of varying difficulty in shooting targets from different positions in a friendly competition! Phil tries to make it harder each year but we amaze him how well we do, next year will include the standing on head whilst blindfolded and singing the National Anthem event.

The evening takes place at Phil's club, The 1944 Chelmsford Rifles, where we are all made very welcome and includes us tucking into Phil's dinner prepared by Sue. Our thanks must also go to the range officers who, without their help, the evening would not happen. The surprise this year after 15 years of trying (or missing), Sensei Ian won the competition and the vintage bottle of wine..

A final big thanks again to Phil and Sue who arrange this superb event. Anyone interested in joining or getting further information click on the link above.
