Copenhagen 2010

UNJJ

19th UNJJ Course and Championships

As you are all aware this year the 19th, will be hosted by Hans DeMant and the Danish group in Copenhagen.

I can now inform you of the payment dates etc, that I know you have all been waiting for. I need to receive a deposit of £75 per person, No later than Sunday 21st March (please note any payments are non refundable). When booking places I need to know exactly who is sharing with whom/ which package etc. etc. The balance of payments must be paid to me no later than Sunday 18th July and all competitions entry’s must also be received by this date.

I am pleased to say that there has been no increases in the prices but please all note that the following prices do not include any flights/ transfers. Everyone will need to make their own flight arrangements and I would advise everyone to book their flights sooner rather than later, as the prices tend to increase the nearer it gets to the travel dates.

The following prices are as before for 3 nights accommodation with breakfasts/ course and competition or spectator fees/ plus the Gala Dinner. There is the availability to arrive one day earlier and spend an extra day in Copenhagen. Should anyone wish to do this then please contact me asap so I may advise you of the extra cost involved. Please note however that there is no facility to stay an extra night after the event.

Package 1

This is the cheapest option and the accommodation is in a hostel in Copenhagen downtown. This package includes a small breakfast and the hostel is located 7km from the congress hotel. The total package (not including flights/ transfers) is £145 per person.

Package 2

This is in the main congress hotel which is the Scandic Hvidovre. The hotel is 12 minutes by bus from downtown and minutes drive from the sports hall. The hotel has a pool/ fitness room and other facilities. The cost per person for the package (not including flights and transfers) staying in this hotel is £227.50 pp when two people are sharing a room. £190 pp when three people are sharing a room and £172.50 pp when four people are sharing a room.

As stated in my original paperwork there are no specific child reductions just a £5 reduction on their course and competition fee’s.

The agenda for the event is as follows:

Arrive Thursday or Friday and experience Copenhagen.

Friday 27th August

Welcome drink in the bar (at your own expense). Evening meeting for the national delegates.

Saturday 28th August

Course and competition. Masters dinner in the evening.

Sunday 29th August

Competitions and finish of 19th UNJJ congress. Gala dinner in the evening.

Monday 30th August

Departure.

I know that many of you have travelled before to Denmark, but just to remind you that Easyjet is probably one of the cheapest carriers and that their currency is the Danish Krona.

Needless to say, should you have any queries then please do not hesitate to contact me.

Best Wishes

Janet Parker.
